SE2 have thoroughly enjoyed their technology (mandatory) practical lessons this year and all students have participated in making food items including Smartie cookies, beef hamburgers, sausage rolls, egg, pea & ricotta pasta and Chinese fried rice.
This class is new to PHHS and students are adjusting to the demands of a busy high school. Every week the students develop a stronger understanding of kitchen safety and food hygiene, as well as the principles and methods of cooking. I know the students are proud to share their cooking with their families and I can’t wait to see how far they progress this year.
