It has been a busy year of learning in the mathematics faculty.

Students have been working on a range of mathematical problems as they approach the end of the year: collaborative maths relays, card matching and sequencing activities that reinforce maths concepts, coordinate geometry puzzles, math kahoots and more.

Thank you to the many students who have returned their textbooks so next year’s students can access their learning materials promptly.

Remember to purchase an A4 sized grid book and find your calculator before school resumes in 2021. If you need a replacement calculator, the maths faculty recommends the Casio fx-82AU PLUS II Scientific Calculator.

We farewell some of our teachers at the end of this year and wish them all the best: Ms Allen, Mr Maher, Mrs Kumar and Mrs Quinnell.

Over the holidays you may engage with maths in your everyday life. If you would like to explore more you can visit this NSW DoE resource:
