The Port Hacking library welcomes all students back to a busy Term 2.

Over the break the library collection has grown to include 206 new fiction and non-fiction titles.

It is fantastic to see our students enthusiastically perusing the collection, using the library, and participating in the Premier’s Reading Challenge. Don’t forget, there is still time to participate. Any students wishing to join the Premier’s Reading Challenge for 2021 are encouraged to see Miss Santos in the Library, including any student in Year 10 who may have missed their chance at receiving their participation medal last year.

A reminder to all students, please return all library and faculty textbooks to the library.

Miss Santos’ Term 2 fiction pick

“Here at Zalindov, the only person you can trust is yourself”

When the Rebel Queen is captured, Kiva Meridan, the prison healer must keep her alive long enough to face the trial by ordeal; a series of elemental challenges against the torments of air, fire, water and earth, assigned to the most dangerous criminals.

“Don’t let her die. We are coming.”

10 Years imprisoned has meant Kiva can only trust herself… but will the arrival of the Rebel Queen mean true freedom?

Lynette Noni’s masterful storytelling and avid descriptions will keep you intrigued from the outset, culminating in a scandal so reckless, Zalindov just might fall.

Don’t just take my word for it… check out what the critics have to say
