The study of mathematics is mandatory from Kindergarten to Year 10, it provides students with the opportunity to develop their knowledge, understanding and skills in mathematics and working mathematically.
The Home Economics faculty offers a diverse range of courses which engage students in practical experiences to enhance their knowledge and understanding of contemporary issues in society and use of advancing technologies.
Students are given the opportunity to study Technology Mandatory, in Year 7 and 8, where they will study 4 context areas; Digital Technologies, Material Technology 1, Material Technology 2, Engineered Systems.
The PDHPE program reflects the needs of the students within the school. By providing the students with the knowledge and skills to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle, forms the framework for the development of an effective program across all year groups.
Careers education acknowledges student dreams and aspirations while aiming to increase students’ self-awareness, understanding and confidence in planning for a positive future that includes further study and/or employment.
