Enrolment at Port Hacking High School
The school’s local area is determined by the Department of Education (DoE). In accordance with the Education Reform Act 1990, this school will seek to ensure that every eligible local child will have a place at Port Hacking High School (PHHS), if he or she chooses to enrol here.
Local Area enrolments verification of residency
For a student to be enrolled as a local placement, parents/carers will be asked to provide 100 points of evidence as per the link below.
Criteria for non-local applicants
Applications for local Year 6 students wanting to enrol in Year 7, 2021 at Port Hacking High School will be processed by their current primary school.
The Year 6 to 7 2021 Open Night is on Wednesday 4 March, 2020 @ 5:45pm in the school auditorium.
At the Open Night non-local applicants will be able to collect an out of area application form and obtain any further information required. These forms will also be available on the website after this date. The out of area application form needs to be returned to Port Hacking High School no later than 3pm Friday 27 March, 2020.
The abridged school tour for Wednesday 18 March has now been cancelled.
PLEASE NOTE DUE TO CHANGES IN DEPARTMENT PROCESSES THERE WILL BE LIMITED OUT OF AREA ENROLMENTS IN YEARS 8-12 FOR 2020.
PLEASE NOTE DUE TO CHANGES IN DEPARTMENT PROCESSES WE ARE CURRENTLY NOT TAKING ANY OUT OF AREA APPLICATIONS FOR YEAR 10 2020.
PROCEDURES FOR ENROLMENT: SPECIAL EDUCATION UNIT
Parents seeking placement in the special education unit, the parent/carer will need to complete both an EOI and an Access Request which is processed through the local panel procedures. For further information please contact District Office on 02 9531 3900.
